Help
Objects start on the staging shelf (bottom of the canvas). Drag them into the room and back out; right-click any object for more actions. Hold Ctrl while dragging to snap an edge flush to a nearby wall or another object (a dashed line shows the alignment).
Confirm: green = fits — click the object to confirm. Red = blocked. Esc/right-click reverts.
Reshape: drag the floor corner handles (□) — the ceiling always keeps the floor’s shape. Double-click a wall to add a corner; click a corner to remove it. Click a wall of the room or of the selected object (at floor or ceiling height) to type its exact length.
Shift+drag a wall/side pushes that surface sideways, stretching the neighbours; add Ctrl to move it along one axis only.
Esc cancels whatever is in progress: an unconfirmed placement, or any drag before you release the button.
Alt+drag an object slides it up/down the height axis (up-right = higher). Alt+Shift+drag moves a horizontal surface vertically: an object’s bottom (its top stays put), its top, the room floor (the floor itself rises toward the fixed ceiling), or the ceiling — the lowest surface under the cursor wins, objects before the room.
Units: switch metric/imperial in the Workspace section. In imperial the canvas shows feet′inches″ (e.g. 8′4″); the left-pane inputs are typed in inches (dialogs also accept 5'10").
Ctrl while drawing or dragging corners snaps to right angles.
Fit objects: auto-arranges all unlocked objects by priority; review the proposed layout, tweak it, then Accept or Cancel.
Keyboard: Tab cycle objects · arrows move (Shift=10) · PgUp/PgDn raise/lower (Z) · R rotate · Enter confirm/place · P room⇄staging · L lock · [/] priority · F2 rename · Ctrl+D duplicate · Del to staging · +/− zoom · Home fit view · Ctrl+Z/Y undo/redo.
Auto-import: “✨ Auto-import rooms” reads a floor-plan image with AI (needs an Anthropic API key — click Key): every detected room is created with its dimensions and contents prefilled, and the image aligned behind it. Rooms without a stated ceiling height get the standard height (250 cm / 8 ft). Review the result — sizes and positions are estimates.
Data: auto-saved in the browser; use “Link file…” to also auto-save to a JSON file that survives clearing browser data. Fit is checked against the floor outline and room height.
View: wheel = zoom, middle-drag or Space+drag = pan.
Confirm: green = fits — click the object to confirm. Red = blocked. Esc/right-click reverts.
